Health Matters is a locally owned, independent, non-medical home health care company that provides quality care to residents of Halton and Peel Regions.
Health Matters was born from the need to provide more advanced home care to homebound residents. Health Matters was the brainchild of two compassionate health care professionals, who together set out to create a Home Health Care company that would deliver the highest quality care in the industry while maintaining a compassionate and personal touch. This tradition of compassionate care and continual involvement, is the unmistakable mark of Health Matters. Health Matters is surrounded by caring and capable health care professionals, and the administration have built a team of staff which embodies these same high standards.
Health Matters, a name given to the company for its desire to express that every clients personal health does in fact matter. Health Matters is the resource for those who are experiencing failed health. We provide a feeling of reassurance and reliability in a time of uncertainty and unpredictability. Our holistic approach to care is grounded in aging-in-place and client-centered principles.
Although Health Matters staff may be providing physical care to clients during their home visits, we believe that all facets of an individual’s life benefit from this. By providing physical care, Health Matters staff are helping to lift emotional concerns, which can also affect spiritual and social well-being. When our client’s receive high standard of care, we feel as though our mandate has been achieved.
It is through extra efforts such as this that enables Health Matters to be certain it is performing beyond industry standards.
